This page tells you about our Internet security and how you can check that our order pages are secure Before PAYMENT information entered on our (GTP iCommerce powered) order page is transmitted across the internet, it is first encrypted by an extremely rigorous algorithm called RC4 128 bit (SSL v3.0)which is proven as secure for online shopping and e-commerce. Despite media paranoia about Internet security, this encryption method is actually more secure than providing your credit card number over the phone. Something many of us do without hesitation. There are several indicators of a secure web page. The first is the https:// prefix on the URL. If this page is located within a frames environment you may wish to open the page in its own browser window to confirm for yourself that it is a secure page. The second indicator of a secure page depends on your browser. Old versions of Netscape display a blue bar at the top of the page, while newer versions display a key or padlock in the lower left hand corner of the screen. Microsoft Internet Explorer displays a small lock on the lower right hand corner of the screen. Our digital key, required for secure web page encryption was provided by Thawte. Thawte performs a comprehensive background check on any company before issuing a digital key. You can confirm the authenticity of our key by doing the following Microsoft IE3 From the file menu, select properties, then click on the security tab to bring up details of the digital ID Microsoft IE4 and above click on the gold padlock to bring up details of the digital ID Netscape Navigator 3 Click on the gold key in the lower left corner and Show Document Info on the Security Information page. Under Certificate, view our Digital ID details Netscape Communicator or Later Click on the gold padlock in the lower left hand corner and the View Certificate button on the Security Information page Still not comfortable? If you are still not comfortable sending your credit card details across the internet, you can order by phone, post or by fax or email Browse and add to cart the items you wish to purchase Adjust quantities by clicking on view cart and modifying the quantities. Click on Checkout and fill in the details up until you are asked for credit card details. Print out the web page for faxing and fax to our fax number Or email us with your order details and ask us to call you for your credit card number You can generate an order summary with your credit card details without the credit card number being sent and print this page out and either fax or post it with your payment If you want to purchase the product but still donąt feel safe, please e-mail us or phone us (using the details on our contact page) and we will help you pay for your order securely.
